National Board Network of Accomplished Minoritized Educators (NAME)

Our vision is to ensure equity and excellence in teaching and learning through the empowerment of accomplished, minoritized educators and the students they teach.

National Board NAME is committed to advancing learning, deepening professional knowledge, and leading student learning to impact student achievement; through reflective and collaborative learning communities. The National Board Network of Accomplished Minoritized Educators is presently designing and developing National Board pre-candidacy support, professional learning opportunities framed within the Accomplished Teaching Body of Knowledge (BoK: Five Core Propositions, the Architecture of Accomplished Teaching, and the National Board Standards), and National Board candidate recruitment and support for teachers of color.
